Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. He’s a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she’s a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Their new apartment is her most recent find-too expensive with bad plumbing and in need of a paint job. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does. Paul just doesn’t understand Corie, as she sees it. He’s too staid, too boring and she just wants him to be a little more spontaneous, running “barefoot in the park” would be a start... “A bubbling, rib-tickling comedy.”-The New York Times “Critic weeps joyfully...I don’t think anybody stopped laughing while the curtain was up last evening.”-New York Daily News

One of the funniest plays ever written, this extraordinarily inventive, side-splitting comedy was first presented by the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, then produced in Great Britain, then went on to Broadway. The action centers on the hilarious dilemma of a young architect who is visited by a man he’s never met but who saved his life in Vietnam—the visitor turning out to be an incredibly inept, hopelessly stupid “nerd” who outstays his welcome with a vengeance. “Shue delivers a neatly crafted package that uses some classic comic forms to bring the audience to its knees, laughing.” —The Milwaukee Journal. “…the audience almost never stops laughing—handkerchiefs wiping away tears of merriment…” —Variety. “…a spring tonic of side-bruising laughter…” —The Milwaukee Tribune.

At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity. “Light, frothy and fun.”-New York Post “Neil Simon makes people laugh-a lot!”-USA Today “Not only side splitting, but front and back splitting.”-NBC-TV
PARENTAL WARNING: Rumors contains language and adult subject matter that would probably earn it a PG-13 or R rating in the film world.

When Rose Fowler, a feisty, retired school teacher, begins to show signs of progressive Alzheimer's disease, her middle-aged children, Ben and Sandy, grow increasingly alarmed. The children propse moving Rose from her apartment to an assisted living facility, but Rose is a woman who still has a mind of her own. Family tensions and laughter arise as Rose's need to retain her independence repeatedly clashes with her children's wish to ensure her safety. "Hilarious, moving, and Simonesque." - the Neil Simon Festival

In the song-poem industry, people of every stripe and from all over the world submit their poems to be set to music, with the hope of fame and fortune. We see the hopes and dreams of the poets and musicians whose lives are connected through the fictional “Star Records.” We experience the frustrations of the musicians and singers who, by working for Star Records, choose money over art. Star Record is run by Sharkey, who is only interested in “grinding out songs like sausages, one after the other.” Josh Williams, is hired by Sharkey to compose song-poems. But Josh is not content to crank out one meaningless song after another. He actually cares about the poets and wants to create more than just junk. His addiction to writing song-poems and his obsession with pleasing the poets grates on his girlfriend, Christine (Sharkey’s daughter) who, in order to get some of his attention, resorts to submitting poems surreptitiously under the pseudonym “Missy Anonymous.” Josh slowly falls in love with “Missy.” The lives of four other characters are explored: Lila Bloom, a woman, battling cancer; Jamie Lynn Hughes, a housewife who writes poetry, in spite of her husband, who belittles the activity; Paul, a man who has lost his one true love; and Captain Bicycle, a nerdish young man who believes he can save the world with the three most powerful forces on the planet – rock and roll, Jesus Christ, and big-breasted women.
Song-Poems Wanted! The Musical features 30 songs, lots of laughs and a big heart.
