We attempt to cast age-appropriate when possible, but will consider using actors of ages deifferent than their character. Most company members will be asked to play two roles. Some company members will be asked to play three roles.

Auditions for the 2012 Summer Season will be held in February 2012 at the following locations:

Friday, February 10 as part of the Next Step auditions at the American College Theater Conference at the Weber State University Campus in Ogden, Utah. (You must be registered as a conference participant in order to participate in these auditions; go to http://kcactf-8.org/next_step.html for more information.)

Friday, February 17 on the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus. Time and location will be posted as soon as it is available.

Saturday, February 18, 9 am - Noon on the campus of the Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah in the Music Building Room 209. If possible, come during the first hour and a half, as most of the remaining time will be used for additional readings. No appointment is necessary. Saturday, February 18, 2-4 pm on the campus of the Dixie State College in St. George, Utah in the Black Box theatre in the Eccles Fine Arts Building. If possible, come during the first hour as most of the second hour will be used for additional readings. No appointment is necessary. (Email us at casting@simonfest.org if you have any questions)

Saturday, February 25, 10 am - Noon on the campus of the Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in the Harris Fine Arts Center, Room F201. No appointment is necessary. (Email us at casting@simonfest.org if you have any questions)

Saturday, February 25, 2:30-4:30 pm on the campus of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah in Room 202 of the Performing Arts Building. No appointment is necessary. (Email us at casting@simonfest.org if you have any questions)

Please come prepared to perform two contrasting monologues, or one monologue and 16 bars of a Broadway song. There will not be an accompianist at the audition, so please bring a music CD or be prepared to sing acapella. At least one monologue should be from a Neil Simon play other than those being produced in our season. Also come with resume and head shot. If you are an Equity Actor, please let us know in advance.
